Mike Makowsky

Biography

Mike Makowsky(born May 9, 1991) is an American screenwriter and producer. He wrote the true crime dramedy film Bad Education, which premiered on HBO in 2020. He has also written the films Take Me and I Think We're Alone Now. Makowsky was born in Bayside, New York, and raised in the Long Island suburb of Roslyn. In 2004, while he was in the seventh grade at the Roslyn Union Free School District, school superintendent Dr. Frank Tassone and various administrative colleagues were arrested in what would become the largest public school embezzlement in American history.
